As the Custom Drapery Specialist, I pair up with our designers at Lauren Home and we will come to your home and listen carefully to what your vision is for your room. Together, we will select the perfect fabrics, the right design and put the final touch to transform your room.
With over thirty years experience in the design business, I have seen design trends come and go and sometimes come back again. The way I like to work is to carefully listen to my clients and transform their dreams and visions into reality. What is really fun is to be able to help them with each room design as their needs and families change. I want to make it beautiful, comfortable and functional for their lifestyle.
I am the mattress manager and sleep expert at Lauren Home and have 25 years of experience in the mattress industry. I travel to different mattress manufacturers to understand not just what is in our mattresses at Lauren Home but how they are actually constructed. Each mattress that we carry has different components, different foam densities and layers, spring counts and positions. I want to know how each will work with each of my clients so that I can offer expert advice as to the perfect selection.
We spend a great amount of our lives on a bed and a mattress set is one of the most important purchases that we make. It is so important that you choose the right mattress. It is my responsibility to find that perfect mattress so you have the best sleeping experience that you have ever had and change your life!
With many years of design experience in the high end furniture business, I have found that what gives me the most pleasure is to see my clients happy with their customized furniture designed just for them. I am very detail oriented and I communicate with my clients throughout the design and installation process. I like to work with my clients’ existing décor and make suggestions and additions to make their room come alive.
My formal college degree is in design and marketing with a concentration centered on furniture construction. My design philosophy varies greatly as my focus is always on my clients. I believe that the right fabric color choice can set the stage and inspiration for the entire room. As each design project is unique, I feel it’s extremely important to listen very carefully to ensure that I turn my clients’ vision into reality. I love to pull the room together with some fresh paint, accessories, rugs where needed, lamps and draperies.
I have been a designer for over thirty years and have attained my extensive design knowledge from studying different cultures and designs from all over the world. I listen to my clients’ needs and transform their ideas into well appointed rooms while working within their budget. I also have expertise in soft as well as hard window treatments and flooring types inclusive of ceramic, select hardwood and carpeting. A lot of my design work can be seen in high end hotels from Anaheim, California to Costa Rica.
I consider each and every opportunity to serve my clients with their design needs a privilege. I bring decades of furniture design and service and the pure joy of design and decorating ideas to my clients and friends. My favorite saying is “if you have seen it or dreamed it, I will do everything possible to find it for you.” I work extremely hard for my clients and their needs to bring them exceptional design and service.
My expertise comes from over ten years of design working with fine Persian rugs in Scottsdale Arizona. I have studied color theory and I believe in beginning with the perfect color as inspiration for my design projects. I am a positive minded designer and I like to focus on my clients’ desires by listening intently and developing a design that transitions their ideas into reality. I like to bring excitement to each of my clients through interaction and bringing the beauty of Lauren Home to their home.
Janet enjoys working with clients to arrive at harmonic solutions for each situation taking into consideration individual styles from start to finish. Using her vast knowledge and years of experience in decor and design she enjoys function as it intertwines with beauty. Delighting in the trends of today as well as styles of yesterday she has found a home at Lauren Home simply adding to her success as she cares for each individual.
